The day i brought in my car to have a wheel alignment check ,I was shown the readout from the machine ,and it was there in front of me the car needed the alignment .They were able to do the job while I browsed the department store, and the car felt better when I drove away.

Bad Techs

I went to Sears to get an alignment done cause i didn't want to wait an extra day for my car to get aligned and when i took it there they told me that my wheel bearing and inner tie rod were bad. So i took it to another more accredited shop the next day and they did my alignment and checked the parts...

Shoddy work

The alignment itself wasn't so bad, but was nothing but a memory about 3 months later when my steering wheel again began tilting about 10 degrees. What annoyed me the most was that after snapping off one of my lug studs, they tried to charge my 50 dollars to replace it--as if I had no idea it takes 30 seconds to change a lug stud on my car (considering the tire was already off). I mean the thing isn't even connected. After some complaining they cut the cost in half, which was still over-priced but I took it. I was very annoyed at how they charged a labor rate for each thing to be done, rather than... read full review »

I dropped off the car to Sears Auto Center today and I waited for more than an hour to pick up my car after alignment service but when I got there the service was not done. The staff told me to go inside to talk with the mechanic staff and that guy explained to me he can;t do a full service of alignment since my rear part have something wrong so he only can do the front side for me but needs to charge the full service prices which is $74.99 and I rejected to do that so he told me I need to charge for !4.99 for inspection fees and I rejected since no one told me that when I dropped off my car there...

Alignment wasn't done correctly

I went to get my car aligned and balanced. I spent two hours in a waiting room to get the car worked on.  When, I drove out of Sear my car was pulling to the left. I had to then take it up to another Sears that was close to where I was going to get it realigned. Now, my car wheels makes a funny noise and still has a pull. I am not satisfied with Sears.

Not sure what check off procedure they are using but I had the tires rotated and alignment done to my 2007 Ford Edge. When I got home I decided to check the air pressure in the tires. Figuring that this should have been done at Sears the air pressure should be close to the manufacturers recommended tire air pressure. Glad I checked because each tire was about 6 psi low. Hopefully this is just happening at this Sears Auto Center because I will be traveling the extra 12 miles to the other Sears Auto Center. Hopefully they will did the time tio check things like that.

After replacing four tires at a discount club warehouse on our Mercedes ML350, I realized that we needed an alignment, which the club didn't do.  The enormous, clean Sears Auto facility in Hicksville, Long Island said that they could do a 4-wheel alignment in about an hour, and just to drive in at my convenience, first come first served.  I was very impressed with their system; you actually drive your car into the inside of their cavernous service center, and so are always protected from the elements.  You then tell the service advisor what you want (10-minute oil change, alignment, tires, etc.),...

I have been treated well when ever I have brought my car into the Sears Auto center at the Southern Park Mall in Boardman, Ohio. They perform quality service and explain what is needed. Prices are in line with local tire stores. Also when they repair tires, they use a patch and not a plug like the discount tire places do! Regarding the negative comments on this site: You have to take each with a grain of salt. When you read that someone had an alignment done and that the car still pulled to the one side after they left Sears...other things could be in play that are not being explained. An... read full review »

Horrible

I had my truck aligned at Sear Auto Center...When it was "complete", it was still off.  It took almost 4 hours to put 4 tires and align my truck and they couldnt get it right!  Since, I have tried on multiple occasions to bring my truck back for the center to fix the alignment, but each time, I am told its a 4 to 6 hour wait.  Fixing thier mistake is the lowest priority at Sears.

I will NEVER go back.  Take you car to Tire Discounters.  They go out of thier way to do things the correct way.

Wonderfully satisfied by the price, great quality, rugged look, and thick tread, the set of four Dunlap Radial Rover A/T tires fit comfortably and perfectly on our Chevy S10 Pickup truck. Before purchasing online through our affiliated partner store, the price was too much to include an alignment (which was very needed). The savings from additional options and tires allowed us to book an alignment service at the same time, and gave us a discount on the actual alignment for multiple services. We did our research for sure: calling 800 number tire help center with outrageous priced alignments with...

I had my alignment done at Sears in 9/09 the alignment was never right. I went back time after time for them to correct the issue. I was treated very disrespectfully by the staff, Tiffany one of the staff members was very unprofessional, consistently  calling me hon,and sweetie . It was over all just  bad. I came back about five times the last time I had to bring a mechanic with me. That's when my alignment was done right and I was finally treated with respect. I even reached out to the store manager who never got back to me or was never there when I call.never go to the Sears at the Newburgh...
