This product is a waste of money. I bought it on sale and it was my first steamer vac. I decided to get it and try on the carpet that had stains no older than a month. I used it on one stain over and over for about 15 min. and it took some of it off, but the stain is still there. Basicaly It refreshed...

My apartment is a small one bedroom of 543 square feet. This machine is excellent for living in my environment. This carpet shampooer does the job on high traffic areas and where pets go. It's easy taking it from storage because it is light weight, and easy putting it away. The brushes do not " rotate", just so you know. They power in one circle. For an area an small as mine, and the reasonable price, it works excellent.
I have had this steam cleaner for a couple years now, and it is a wonderful now as it was when it was new. I have white carpet and an older dog which sometimes has accidents. I've tried so many different versions of steam cleaners, and this one has by far been the best. It is durable, and cleans beautifully. My only complaint is that some parts are a little difficult to clean inside the dirty water tank. However, this is a minor complaint, and I do have an older model of this steam cleaner, so I am quite sure that this has now been improved.
I love this carpet cleaner. I have used other previously but none have ever worked as good as this one. I could not believe how much dirt it pulled out of my carpet the first time I used it! It leaves your carpet so clean and fresh smelling and soft!
I used to rent those huge red carpet cleaners from grocery stores.....by the time you purchase the accompanying cleaner and the price of the rental plus tax, you easily spend in the $40 range....for one cleaning! (And I won't even mention all the nasty dirt that already exists in the rental unit when I bring it into my home.) This Bissell pays for itself time and time again. It's lightweight and cleans BETTER than larger machines I've rented and owned in the past. The suction power and dirt retraction is amazing! read full review »I have been looking for a few years for a carpet cleaner that I could afford but still worked well. My house is completely covered in carpet and it seems like it is always dirty. All of us have severe allergies, so routine deep cleaning is key to our health. This carpet cleaner is lightweight and efficient. I have severe back injuries and this carpet cleaner is light enough for me to pick up and use weekly. I am very pleased with how well it cleans and how easy it is to use. The different cleaning agents compatible with the cleaner are awesome as well, pleasantly scented and easy to use.
The quicksteamer is just that very quick and easy to assemble and easy to use. I my self don't like the big and bulky steamers and for those whose can't lift heavy things this would be perfect for you I recommend this for you.
I purchsed the Bissell QuickSteamer in November, 2009, after a couple of parts broke on my old Bissell cleaner that I'd had for 15 years. I read the reviews for the QuickCleaner and decided to try it. I have dogs which means, of course, accidents. There were stains I thought would never come up, but the QuickSteamer had my old carpet looking new! It's lightweight, only 12 pounds, and easy to maneuver.
