“Black & Decker 18V pivoting cordless dust buster worth the money”

This dust buster is perfect for getting in those little spaces when you don't want to pull out the big vacuum just to hit a little spot here and there.  I use it daily to control pet hair in the house and it is just as wonderful when I use it in on the black carpet in my truck.  It has two speeds and goes a long time before requiring recharging, the spout pulls out to add even more reach, and it comes with an attachment that has bristles on it which is great for getting pet hair out of corners and cracks.

Some say it is heavy, but I don't find it to be, and some say the filter is hard to clean,...

“This is a quality product.”

This is the best handheld vacuum cleaner I ever owned.  It even picks up dirt my regular vacuum cleaner doesn't.  It's great for quick pickups when you don't want to get out the big vacuum.   I tried it with the brush attachment on my mini blinds and it works well.  I dropped some crumbs on the floor and it picked them up without any problem.  Excellent product.

“Great Little Vac”

Very happy with this vac so far - have only had it for a couple of months and it has great suction and seems to last for a while without needing re-charged. As long as it lasts several years, I will be happy. I have found with cheaper models that the batteries don't hold a charge long enough after about a year. Hopefully with this vac you get what you pay for!

“One of the best products I own”

This is a wonderful product.  I have had mine for years now and I use it in my cars and in my house almost every day.  It is powerful enough to use on everything other than your full wall to wall carpet.  I use it on stairs, in the car, around bird cages, bathrooms, kitchen corners, etc.  It is a handvac, so it does fill up if you have a lot of hair and dust like I do from all of our animals, but it more than makes up for that by being so portable and convenient.  I can do the house and one or two cars on a single charge.  I rarely run out of battery time unless I don't put it back in the...

“Black & Decker Pivot: a lot to grip in the fist”

This slightly heavy, heavy duty hand vac is a great addition to our suction machines.  

It gets into those tough to reach places nicely, is easy to dump between cleanings, and holds suction power for longer jobs.  One of the best purchases I have made here at Sears...a great price and a website that keeps on improving (as it should).

The reason it is not a total 5 star bling machine:  it is a little heavy and the internal filter is not the absolutely easiest to clean.  I would still recommend this to all my good friends and the best of the family.  Everyone else can figure it out for themselves...ha....

“THE ultimate hand vac!!!”

I searched lots of hand vac reviews and this one seemed to be the winner - by far! And now I see why... it actually works! Most hand vacs don't have much suction, but this one does. I also like the skinny nose it has (which fits into small places like my toddlers high chair crevices) and the easy to empty dirt/junk container. And yes, it is a bit loud and is a bit heavy (per some reviews out there), but if you want a hand vac that actually works, you're going to have to live with that. “Powerful, long lasting”

I started out looking at the Dyson handheld, but ended up getting this Black & Decker based on reviews around the web. The most dramatic one was a Popular Mechanics video review comparing this against the Dyson and the Dirt Devil Cone handheld - the B&D exceeded the Dyson on cleaning power, and the battery lasted much longer as well (the Cone was pitiful, BTW). The pivoting and telescoping head is surprisingly useful in practice, and the unit is well balanced in my use so far. “THIS VACUUM ROCKS!!!”

This thing has been such a life-saver!!! My car has never stayed cleaner! It's so easy to use that my 3 and 5 year olds LOVE getting it out to clean up after their guinea pigs. For that reason alone this thing is worth it's weight in gold! I've only once turned it up to full power because the lower speed works really well for almost everything I need. I love that the head pivots to get into tight spaces. The only (very small) complaint I have is that if the extending nozzle gets bumped it slides back in, which gets a little annoying when you have to fix it a couple of times during cleaning. “Fantastic vac”

Have had the Black & Decker 18V handheld flip vac for 2 years now and still loving it. Works great, charges well, really strong suction. I'm buying them as gifts now for all of my extended family.

“Excellent Suction”

I love this vacuum, it works great. I bought 6 of them and gave as Christmas presents. I highly recommend this item. It is very powerful and gets into small spaces, like corners and door & window tracks.

“Most AWESOME HANDVAC!!!”

I was hesitant on the price as I have not had great handvacs in the past. BUT this handvac is a mom's gift sent from above! I keep it in my car at all times and just bring it in to charge it over night,then right back to the car it goes. It's suction does just as good as if I was a the car wash and paid $5 to vacuum! It is a little heavy, but not worth knocking any stars off. I have two kids that drop all kinds of stuff all over, it suctions out car seats where you can't get at with your fingers, with no issues! My car has never been cleaner! I even bring it in on days I'm cleaning in the house!... read full review »

“Best HandVac ever...”

i did a lot of online product reviews for a good handVAC and everytime the B&D pivot vacum came up on all of them. despite the good endorsement from websites i still had my doubts about handVACS. Boy was i proven wrong! Great product overall. works like a regular vac w/o the cords to mess you up specially in tight spaces. i regularly and intended to use my HandVac in all our vehicles so its just a joy to have something that actually works. easy to clean and maneuver under car seats and lil nook and cranny. this is the one and no other will do even the dyson handheld cannot compare. i know i owned... read full review »
