Big disappointment

I purchased this television/DVD combo with high expectations of a clear and crisp picture and sound but instead I got it home and the clarity was terrible. The sound was not that great and I was unable to program the remote control to sync with my cable service. Needless to say, I was very disappointed... review »

good to the last glitch

This is a very clear HDTV. I am pleased with it until it glitches, once every hour or so. The picture distorts and gets grainy, for about 3 seconds. I know it is the TV and not our satelite provider because it does not do it on our other HDTV. It was a good price and other than the glitch I have no complaints.

Sylvania TV is not compatible with Charter Cable. The cable remote can not be programmed to control this TV even if you search for the remote code. Otherwise, this may be a good TV.
